Reviews and Ratings
My stay at The Margate Resort was enjoyable overall, thanks to the stunning views of the lake and the friendly service. but there were some notable downsides. The lack of on-site dining options was quite inconvenient, especially since the restaurant was closed during my visit. While the room itself was spacious and comfortable, the noise from the hallway and some cleanliness issues were a bit disappointing.
I recently stayed at The Margate Resort, which had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, close to nearby amenities, but my experience was marred by noise issues and lackluster service. I appreciated the early room availability, but I left feeling disappointed overall.
I had a pleasant stay at The Margate Resort, though I was disappointed with the locked sliding doors in my lakefront room. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall cleanliness of the property impressed me. While the beach access and breakfast options were great, I felt the lakefront room wasn’t worth the extra cost due to the lack of a true lake view. Still, I would consider returning in the future.
Our stay had its ups and downs. The view from our room was absolutely gorgeous, and we really enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake. The room itself was clean but felt a bit outdated, and the breakfast options left a lot to be desired. It would have been nice to have access to the bars, which were closed during our visit. Overall, while I appreciated the location and the comfy bed, I think the hotel needs some improvements to really deserve the 'resort' label.
My stay at The Margate Resort was mixed. I loved the beach access and the staff were incredibly accommodating, but the WiFi was slow and I encountered some outdated room issues. Given the location and lakefront view, I think it has great potential with some renovations in progress.
I had high hopes for my stay, given the location right on the beach and all the amenities the hotel claimed to offer. However, my experience was tainted by a dirty room that clearly needed some TLC, and I ended up feeling it wasn't worth the hefty price tag. While I did enjoy the pools and beach bar, the overall stay left a lot to be desired, especially considering how much I paid.
While I appreciated the prime location right on the beach and enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake, my overall stay was disappointing. The cleanliness and condition of my room did not meet my expectations, especially for the price I paid. The dining options left much to be desired, which added to my dissatisfaction during the visit.
I had an amazing stay at The Margate Resort, with breathtaking views of Paugus Bay and beautiful grounds. The beach and pool facilities were enjoyable, but the breakfast options left something to be desired, especially considering the reliance on disposable plastics. Overall, it’s a relaxing getaway spot, though the dining experience could definitely improve.
